Petrina is inspired by Australian landscapes. Her designs reflect the work of the Creator’s hands; “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1). The rich colours and contours represent land formations and waterways. An emphasis on curved lines and circular shapes display God’s life breathed into clay and the harmony that flows within his handiwork. Petrina exhibited and sold artworks in Milan and Florence, Italy in the mid 2000s and in Australian galleries. After a long break from art, to raise her family, she has been freshly inspired while ministering to youth, to create a series of artworks called “Life Rocks”. The artwork speaks of the solid anchor of God’s love and his plan to give each youth a purpose, a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
